DHAKA, Dec 4, 2025 (BSS)—Rangpur Riders roped in Pakistan all-rounder Faheem Ashraf for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20, scheduled to start on December 26.

The franchise announced the signing through its social media platforms.

Faheem has been the integral part of Pakistan national T20 squad, meaning his participation for the full tournament is unclear. 

Pakistan are scheduled to play a three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka in Dambulla on January 7, 9 and 11 followed by another three-match home T20I series against Australia in the final week of January before heading to T20 World Cup, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka in February. 

Faheem has represented Pakistan in 76 T20Is, scoring 535 runs at an average of 13.04 and with a strike rate of 134.08. With the ball, he so far claimed 60 wickets at an average of 24.80 and an economy rate of 7.80.

He played only 19 matches in BPL but that number is enough to stamp his authority. He has picked up 30 wickets at an impressive average of 17.20 and an economy rate of 7.58, alongside 170 runs at an average of 24.28 and a mammoth strike rate of 186.81.
