DHAKA, Nov 22, 2025 (BSS) - Kenya posted their second consecutive victory in the ongoing Second Women's Kabaddi World Cup 2025, beating Zanzibar by 41-16 points in the last match of the group stage held at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium in Mirpur today.
In the day's all-African match, the Kenyan side took a comfortable 22-8 lead in the first half.
The elimination of both teams from the group stage had already been confirmed prior to this match.
Kenya earlier earned their maiden victory of the World Cup, beating their European opponents, Poland, by 80-19 points held on Friday last.
The African side concluded their campaign on a positive note, finding satisfaction in ending with a victory.
