DHAKA, Nov 22, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh raider Brishti Biswas said team's unity enabled them to achieve resounding victory over Thailand in the ongoing Women's World Cup.  

"I am feeling very good ...many, many thanks to everyone. Our target was to defeat Thailand by giving our absolute best. We have achieved this, thanks to our coach, our secretary and everyone in our team. As we were united, so we have achieved the victory," said Brishti after the match against Thailand.

She said their goal now to play in the final and to go the final they are prepared to give their absolute best.

Replying the question she said, "Yes, there was a bit of pressure, but we left everything up to Allah. Our only target was that we had to win at any cost against Thailand. We never, not even one percent, not even for a second, thought that we would lose. Our morale was always high."
