DHAKA, Nov 20, 2025 (BSS) - India beat Germany by 63-22 points in the Second
Women's World Cup Kabaddi held at Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium in Mirpur
today (Thursday).
The win saw India's third consecutive triumph, putting them firmly on course
for the last four spot. India began their campaign with a 65-20 points win
over Thailand, before defeating hosts Bangladesh 43-18.
The kabaddi giants will face Uganda in their final group match. Germany, who
opened their World Cup campaign with a 27-57 points defeat to Bangladesh,
have now suffered back-to-back defeats.
India dominated Germany from the outset. Ritu Negi, Sakshi Sharma and their
teammates took control of the match early, forcing Germany into three all-
outs and establishing firm command. India went into the break leading 35-9.
Germany continued to struggle in the second half, unable to cope with India's
physical strength and superior technique. Within the first three minutes of
the half, they suffered another all-out, with India extending the lead to 46-
12 points.
The four-time South Asian Games gold medalists then forced yet another all-
out as they powered towards a comprehensive victory.
India eventually sealed the match by a margin of 41 points.
