DHAKA, Nov 18, 2025 (BSS)- Bangladesh registered their second consecutive win
in the second Women's Kabaddi World Cup beating Germany by 57-27 points held
at Shaheed Suhrawardy Indoor Stadium at Mirpur here today (Tuesday).
From the beginning of the match, the host comprising Sraboni Mollick, Brishti
Biswas and Srity Akhter, threatened early inroad on their opponents and
continued to accumulate raid points.
Within just five minutes, Bangladesh achieved the first all-out against the
Germans, giving them a commanding 10-0 lead. Bangladesh, who dominated the
match from the very beginning, took the opportunity to test almost all their
players.
However, the German side, who only started playing Kabaddi in 2023, managed
to put up decent resistance at one stage. Although the European nations were
physically stronger, Bangladesh overcame them through better techniques.
Germany were "All-Out" for the second time in the 10th minute, the score line
was 22-5. Bangladesh held a comfortable half-time lead of 28-9.
In the second half, the hosts' slightly casual approach allowed Germany to
score some points. However, Germany were All-Out for the third time with six
minutes left in the match, making the score 43-21.
Bangladesh ultimately finished the match with a 57-27 victory, having
inflicted one further All-Out on the Germans before the final whistle.
