DHAKA, Sep 12, 2026 (BSS) - Police arrested 85 people for their alleged involvement in various crimes during a special drive conducted in different police station areas under Tejgaon area yesterday.
 
Deputy Commissioner of DMP's Media and Public Relations Department Md Akter Hossain disclosed the information in a press release today.
 
According to the release, Mohammadpur Police Station arrested 27 people, Tejgaon Police Station 21, Adabar Police Station 19, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station seven, Tejgaon Industrial Area Police Station six and Hatirjheel Police Station arrested five people.
 
Police said the arrested persons have been sent to court.
