RAJSHAHI, July 3, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar today called on party leaders and activists to promote moral values in society.

He made the call while addressing a day-long educational camp for the party's members (Rukon), organised by Rajshahi Metropolitan Jamaat-e-Islami at a conference hall in the city.

Speaking as the chief guest, Parwar said the organisation would grow stronger and contribute to positive social change if its members worked with ideological commitment, discipline and a sense of responsibility.

He added that there was no alternative to knowledge, patience and a planned approach in developing effective leadership.

He also stressed the need to establish moral values through well-organised dawah activities across the country. Strengthening the ideological and organisational capacity of grassroots leaders, he said, was essential for reinforcing the party's foundation, adding that educational camps play an important role in achieving that objective.

The programme was presided over by Rajshahi Metropolitan Jamaat-e-Islami Nayeb-e-Ameer Advocate Abu Mohammad Salim and conducted by Metropolitan Secretary Imaz Uddin Mondol.

Among the special guests were the party's Central Assistant Secretary Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, MP, and Dr. AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad.
