BAGERHAT, July 3, 2026 (BSS) - Partner Field School (PFS) Congress was held in Rampal today to distribute fertilizer and seeds of paddy, coconut, vegetables, betel nut and fruits among farmers  

State Minister for the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Sheikh Faridul Islam distributed the seeds among a total of 3,965 farmers of the upazila as the chief guest. 

The Congress of the Programme on Agriculture and Rural Transformation for Nutrition, Entrepreneurship and Resilience in Bangladesh (PARTNERS) was held at the Upazila Auditorium with Upazila Nirbahi Officer Ms. Tamanna Ferdousi in the chair. 

Upazila Agriculture officer Krishibid Insad Ibne Amin, Additional Agriculture officer Oliul Islam, Additional Deputy Director of Bagerhat District Ramesh Chandra Ghosh, Senior Monitoring officer of Partner Project Mosaddek Hossain, Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Abhijit Chakraborty, Rampal Police Station OC Rajib Al Rashid, Upazila BNP President Sheikh Hafizur Rahman Tuhin and local BNP leaders were also present at the event. 

Earlier, Upazila Agriculture Department set a stall to display modern agriculture and agricultural products and produced fruits and vegetables.
