DHAKA, May 23, 2026 (BSS) – Jatrabari police under the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested ten suspected criminals yesterday during a special drive in various crime-prone areas under its jurisdiction.

The arrested individuals include regular case accused, named suspects and warrant-holding criminals involved in various offenses, said NM Nasiruddin, Deputy Police Commissioner of the DMP's Media and Public Relations Division in a press release issued today.

The arrested individuals have been identified as Maruf, 21, Md. Mizanur Rahman, 36, Md. Miraj alias Afzal Hossain Miraj, Tanvir, 19, Sohel, 30, Rakib Molla, 26, Md. Shahin, 42, Lincoln, 20, Asif Mahmud and Md. Nazmul Hawlader.

According to the DMP release, all ten suspects have already been produced before the court to face legal proceedings.
