DHAKA, May 19, 2026 (BSS) - Deputy Director of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) Dr M Mamunur Rashid has been appointed as the new director of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital in the capital.

A notification issued by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare confirmed the appointment today.

Dr Rashid, a BCS (Health) cadre official, has been transferred and posted to the hospital on current charge as its director, said the notification.
