DHAKA, May 18, 2026 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) today adjusted price of furnace oil upward setting it at Taka 113.54 per litre. 

According to the new decision, the price of furnace oil per liter has been refixed at Taka 113.54 per litre, which would be effective from midnight today.

Earlier, on April 12, the price of furnace oil per liter was Taka 94.69 per litre.

The BERC adjusted the price of furnace oil based on the average of the Platts Rate of Furnace Oil published from 13 April 2026 to 12 May 2026 and the FOB price of imported crude oil in May 2026.
