DHAKA, May 1, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Secretary General Kader Gani Chowdhury today said modern civilization has been built on the foundation of labor and workers.
He said workers have made the greatest contribution to the advancement of civilization, but they still do not receive proper dignity for their labor.
He made the remarks at a discussion organized by the Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists and the Dhaka Union of Journalists on the occasion of May Day, held at the Tofazzal Hossain Manik Mia Hall of the National Press Club in Dhaka.
