DHAKA, Feb 18, 2026 (BSS) - A court here today ordered the seizure of tax records of four individuals, including former social welfare minister Nuruzzaman Ahmed, in connection with corruption cases.

The orders also cover former Mymensingh-11 lawmaker Kazim Uddin Ahmed, wife of former Chapainawabganj-3 lawmaker Abdul Wadud, Marjina Wadud, and former Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) councillor Abul Hashem (Hasu).

The court issued the directives as all the accused are facing ongoing graft proceedings.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Sabbir Faiz passed the orders, allowing petitions filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
