NARSINGDI, 26 Jan 2026 (BSS)- BNP Standing Committee member and candidate for the Narsingdi-2 (Palash) constituency Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan has said quality education is must to build responsible citizens.
“Without quality education, the children of the country can never grow as worthy citizens,” he said while addressing a meeting organized by local unit of Chhatra Dal at Ghorashal here today.
Education must be given the highest priority, he said noting that adequate schools, colleges and universities are essential to ensure proper education.
Considering the importance of the district, he said Narsingdi deserves a high-quality university and pledged to establish one if elected.
Moyeen Khan said along with academic teaching the educational institutions must focus on moral education, discipline and humanitarian values among students.
He added that only an educated generation can lead the country towards development and good governance. He emphasized that the government and all sections of society must work together to improve the education system.
Criticizing the Awami League, Moyeen Khan said, a country cannot run under threat, intimidation and policing.
To establish a developed state system, people must be given freedom, democracy and liberal education.
