KHULNA, Jan 22, 2026 (BSS) - A delegation of the European Union (EU) Election Observation Mission, currently in Khulna to monitor the upcoming 13th Jatiya Sangsad election, paid a courtesy call on journalists and leaders of the Khulna Press Club on Wednesday evening.

The EU team was welcomed by Khulna Press Club Convener Enamul Haque and Member Secretary Rafiul Islam Tutul, along with other journalists.

Members of the EU delegation included Social Media Analyst Voyena Madelina, Media Analyst Agnes Doka, Liaison Officer Gert Binder, and Long-Term Observers Elina Simona and Ricardo Ramoska.

Khulna Press Club Executive Member Md Mizanur Rahman Milton, club member Mostafa Jamal Poplu, Khulna Metropolitan Journalists Union President Md Rashidul Islam and General Secretary Abdur Razzak Rana, and senior club member Md Ershad Ali were also present at the meeting.
