RAJSHAHI, July 8, 2026 (BSS)- Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) in separate anti-narcotics drives arrested three alleged drug dealers and recovered cannabis and yaba tablets from three separate places in the city today.

Rajpara Police Station arrested a drug dealer with 240 grams of cannabis and 19 pieces of yaba tablets from Dashpukur area and arrested Nice Kamal Sajal, 32, son of Md. Shajahan Ali of the same area.

Chandrima Police conducted an operation and arrested Md. Sagor, 35, with 25 pieces of yaba tablets.

Meanwhile, the Boalia Police Station conducted an anti-drug operation and arrested one female drug dealer with 100 pieces of yaba tablets and the arrested Ruma Khatun, 38, wife of Minhazul Islam alias Chobi of Goljarbagh Guripara village under Kashiadanga Police Station.
It should be noted that there is one ongoing drug case against the arrested accused at Kashiadanga Police Station and another at Rajpara Police Station.

Three separate cases have been filed against the arrested accused under the Narcotics Control Act at the respective Police Stations and have been sent to the learned court.
