DHAKA, Jan 11, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Vice Chairman Barkat Ullah Bulu today said that a tough fight lies ahead and there is no alternative without unity among party activists.

"There is no room for anyone among us to harbor any grievances now. Forgetting about who received nominations and who did not, everyone must unite," he said.

Bulu made the remarks while speaking at a prayer meeting organized by the Zia Manch at the Bhashani Auditorium in the city, seeking forgiveness for the departed soul of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.

Noting that the opponent cannot be taken lightly, the senior BNP leader said, "To see Tarique Rahman as the future Prime Minister of the country, we must engage in hard work starting now."

He said, “We must fight strongly against the shadow enemies. The election on February 12 must be faced through unity. There is no way without unity”.

Quoting BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman, he said, “Tarique Rahman has said unity, unity, unity, and Bangladesh above all else.”

Sounding a warning, the BNP leader said, “If we are not united, we will face even more severe dangers ahead”.

BNP Chairman's Adviser and valiant freedom fighter Abdus Salam presided over the event while BNP's Volunteer Affairs Secretary Mir Sarafat Ali Sapu, the organization's General Secretary Mohammad Faiz Ullah Iqbal, and leaders from various levels were present.
