SIRAJGANJ, Jan 8, 2026 (BSS) - BNP Standing Committee Member Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku today said there is a huge response among the people in the district ahead of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman’s participation in a doa mahfil on Sunday.

He made the remarks this afternoon after visiting the venue of the doa mahfil at Sirajganj BSCIC Industrial Park.

The doa mahfil will be held seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

Tuku said on January 11, while travelling to Bogura, Tarique Rahman will attend doa mahfil organized by Sirajganj district BNP at the BSCIC Industrial Park as chief guest 

Sirajganj district BNP General Secretary Saidur Rahman Bachchu, along with leaders of BNP and its affiliated organizations, were present at the time.
