DHAKA, Jan 8, 2026 (BSS) - Police have arrested 10 people involved in various crimes in a day-long special operation in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station areas of ??the capital.

The arrested have been identified as Md. Ripon (25), Intekham Rahman Emon (21), Md. Asib Hossain (21), Md. Anisur Rahman (32), Md. Zahirul Islam (48), Mahadi Islam (22), Md. Mahin (20), Md. Raju Mia (24), Md. Bappi (32) and Ankhi (21).

According to a police press release, Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police conducted special operations in various areas under this police station and arrested a 10 people involved in various crimes on Wednesday. 

Police officials said that such operations will continue to maintain the law and order situation in the area.
