DHAKA, Jan 5, 2026 (BSS) - Police have arrested 10 individuals in the last 24 hours from different parts of Jatrabari Police Station as part of "Operation Devil Hunt Phase-2". 

The operation led to the recovery of 92 pieces of Yaba tablets and heroin from the possession of the arrested individuals.

The arrested persons are: Roni Sikder alias Rajan (36), Md. Delwar Hossain Delu (43), Md. Khokon (21), Faisal (19), Md. Shuvo Molla (19), Mizan (29), Md. Mizan (31), Md. Sohag (28), Md. Ramzan alias Hridoy (25), and Md. Ali (30).

Deputy Commissioner of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Muhammad Talebur Rahman confirmed the arrests and seizure. 

Police said the detainees were involved in various criminal activities. 

After completion of legal procedures, all the arrested individuals were produced before the court.

Jatrabari Police stated that such operations will continue as part of ongoing efforts to curb crime and ensure public safety in the area.
