DHAKA, Jan 4, 2026 (BSS) - Khilkhet Police arrested two alleged drug dealers during a late-night raid in Nikunja-2, seizing 40 kg of marijuana, 175 pieces of Yaba, Tk 1,19,060 in cash, two motorcycles, walkie-talkie sets, chargers and trolley bags.

The arrested are Md. Imtiaz (26) and Ramim Hossain Babu (30).

They were detained around 11:50 pm on last night , said a police press release.

Police said the duo were professional drug dealers involved in collecting narcotics from different parts of the country and selling them in the capital. 

Two cases have been filed under the Narcotics Control Act and the Bangladesh Telecommunication Control Act.
