BRAHMANBARIA, Jan 3, 2026 (BSS) - Zonayed Saki, chief coordinator of Ganosamhati Andolon, today said the next parliament will be formed to realise the aspirations of the people.

He made the remarks after his nomination paper for contesting the Brahmanbaria-6 (Banchharampur) constituency was declared valid.

Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Sharmin Akhter Jahan confirmed the validity of his nomination following scrutiny.

Zonayed said the next election is both a national election and an election for constitutional reform, adding that reforms will be carried out in line with the July National Charter.

Expressing hope for a fair and peaceful election, he said an environment must be ensured so that people can exercise their voting rights freely.

BNP has left the Brahmanbaria-6 (Banchharampur) seat for its alliance Ganosamhati Andolon leader Zonayed Saki.
