DHAKA, Jan 3, 2026 (BSS) - BNP has announced the appointment of two key officials to the party's acting chairman Tarique Rahman.

A.B.M. Abdus Sattar, a former secretary of the government of Bangladesh, has been appointed as the private secretary while A.A.M. Saleh (Saleh Shibli), former general secretary of the Dhaka Reporters' Unity (DRU), press secretary to BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman. 

A press release signed by BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi disclosed the information today.
