DHAKA, Jan 1, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation (BRTC) will launch its shuttle bus service to Dhaka International Trade Fair (DITF) starting from January 3 in line with the revised schedule of the fair.
The shuttle buses will operate daily from multiple locations in Dhaka and surrounding districts to facilitate easy transportation for visitors.
The services will continue until the closing day of the trade fair. Buses will start operating from 8:00 am each day, while the final return trip from the fair premises will depart at 11:00 pm, according to a press release.
To ensure convenience for passengers, BRTC has arranged ticket sales through both online and offline modes. Tickets can be purchased from designated counters as well as online through the BRTC website.
According to BRTC, shuttle buses will operate from Kuril, Farmgate (Khejurbagan/Khamarbari), Chashara in Narayanganj, Narsingdi, and Gazipur via the Shibbari–Bhogra Bypass–Mirror Bazar Expressway.
The fares have been fixed at Tk 40 from Kuril to fair grounds, Tk 70 from Farmgate (Khejurbagan/Khamarbari) to fair grounds, Tk 100 from Signboard to fair grounds, Tk 120 from Chashara (Narayanganj) to fair grounds, Tk 100 from Narsingdi to fair grounds and Tk 75 from Gazipur (via Shibbari–Bhogra Bypass–Mirror Bazar Expressway) to fair grounds.
The opening ceremony of the Dhaka International Trade Fair was rescheduled to January 3 following the declaration of three days of state mourning and a general holiday after the death of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia.
