THAKURGAON, Dec 19, 2025 (BSS) –BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has collected the nomination form for the Thakurgaon-1 constituency for the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election.

On Thursday afternoon, Nur-e-Shahadat Swajan, former vice-president of Thakurgaon district BNP, collected the form from the office of the district election commission.

District Election Officer Md Waliullah confirmed that the nomination form was collected on behalf of Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir yesterday afternoon.

Noor-e-Shahadat Swajan said, "We have collected nomination form following the instruction of the Secretary General. He has been working tirelessly for the party for a long time. I believe that the voters of Thakurgaon-1 constituency have confidence in him." 

Earlier, Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir announced the party's candidates for 237 seats in the 13th National Parliament elections on November 3.

In the list of party candidates, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir's name was announced for Thakurgaon-1 constituency as the BNP candidate.
