DHAKA, Dec 19, 2025 (BSS) - Dhaka University (DU) administration organized special prayers seeking eternal peace for Sharif Osman Hadi, a former DU student, frontline activist of the July Uprising, and spokesperson of the Inqilab Mancha.

The prayers were conducted today after Maghrib at the central mosque, Masjidul Jamiya, and simultaneously at all mosques across the university campus.

Sharif Osman Hadi's namaz-e-janaza will be held tomorrow after Zuhr prayers at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.

To facilitate the participation of teachers and students of the university, DU administration has arranged special transport services. University buses will depart from Smriti Chirantan Chattar at 12:00 noon tomorrow.
