DHAKA, May 30, 2026 (BSS) - The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has completed the final dumping of 32,662 tonnes of sacrificial animal waste at the Matuail Landfill over the past three days.

According to DSCC, a total of 14,814 tonnes of sacrificial waste was finally disposed of the Matuail Landfill by 11:59 pm on Eid day.

A total of 8,977 tons of waste was disposed by 11:59pm on the day after Eid while another 8,871 tonnes had been disposed as of 6pm today.
