Air Chief asks its new recruits to work with honesty, dedication

SHAMSHERNAGAR, Moulvibazar, Dec 11, 2025 (BSS) - Chief of the Air Staff (CAS) of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmud Khan today asked the newly recruited officers to work with honesty, concentration and dedication to develop themselves as worthy airmen of the Air Force.

“The newly recruited BAF members will actively contribute to the implementation of the firm commitment to keep the skies of Bengal free, being imbued with the genuine patriotism,” he told the new officers, speaking at the training parade of the 53rd new BAF contingent at the Recruits Training School (RTS) located at Babiba Station Shamshernagar here.

The Air Chief was present as the chief guest and inspected the pleasant parade and received the salute of the attractive march past. Subsequently, he also distributed trophies among the meritorious recruits. 

A total of 441 recruits were inducted into the BAF today through this parade, said a release of the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Directorate this evening.

AC-2 Md. Omar Ibn Noman and AC-2 Redwan Ahmed were adjudged the best recruit in education and general service training respectively while AC-2 Md. Omar Ibn Noman achieved the honor as the best recruit for his outstanding meritorious performance.

Earlier, on his arrival at the parade ground, the Air Chief was welcomed by Air Vice Marshal Mohammad Khairul Afsar, the Air Commander of Air Force Base Bir Uttam AK Khandaker and Commandant of Recruits Training School Group Captain Md. Khairul Basar.

Senior officials of the BAF and local military and civilian dignitaries, as well as guardians of the newly recruited officers, among others, attended the ceremony.
