DHAKA, Dec 8, 2025 (BSS) - The International Anti-Corruption Day 2025 is being observed across the country today in accordance with the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (UNCAC).

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has undertaken comprehensive initiatives to mark the day, with programmes planned across districts and upazilas nationwide, according to a press release.

As part of the observance, a discussion meeting was held today at the National Theatre Auditorium of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.

Financial Adviser Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed attended the event as the chief guest, while Director General of Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies, Professor Dr. A. K. Enamul Haque participated as the special guest.

The International Anti-Corruption Day -2025 is observed across the globe on December 9 with the slogan "Uniting with Youth Against Corruption: Shaping Tomorrow's Integrity.
