DHAKA, Dec 1, 2025 (BSS) - A fire that broke out this afternoon in a three-storey building in Rahmatganj’s Dalpatti area of Chawkbazar was brought under control after over an hour of frantic efforts by firefighters.

According to Fire Service media officer Anwarul Islam, seven fire fighting  units from Lalbagh, Siddiqbazar, and Palashi stations reached  the scene and worked to control the blaze at around 6:00 pm.

The fire was originated at 4:42 pm on the 3rd floor of the building. 

No casualties have been reported so far, and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
