BOGURA, Nov 26, 2025 (BSS) – The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has extended financial assistance to a grassroots leader in Bogura as part of its ongoing support initiatives for party workers and people in need.
The assistance has provided to former Jubo Dal leader Shahnewaz Alam Roba, who has long been suffering from kidney complications and requires regular dialysis. The support was delivered to Roba at his residence in the Naymail Hat area of Shajahanpur upazila on Wednesday afternoon.
The assistance was provided at the instructions of BNP Acting Chairman and chief patron of Amara BNP Pharibar Tarique Rahman as part of the party’s initiative to stand by distressed and ailing grassroots leaders.
Under the overall supervision of Amara BNP Pharibar convener Atiqur Rahman Rumon, Rajshahi-Rangpur Media Cell Coordinator Kalam Azad and former general secretary of the town JASAS, Rasheduzzaman Pias formally handed over the donation to the former Jubo Dal leader Roba.
Former upazila BNP convener Abul Bashar, former joint convener Asaduzzaman Atal, Aria Union Parishad chairman Atiqur Rahman Atiq, former Aria union BNP convener Mohsin, Upazila Volunteer Dal general secretary Ayub were present, District Chhatra Dal vice-president Ahsan Habib and Shajahanpur Upazila Chhatra Dal president Abdullah Choton were present, among others.
