TANGAIL, Nov 17, 2025 (BSS) - Alleging that attempts are underway to disrupt
or delay the upcoming Jatiya Sangsad election, BNP Vice-chairman Shamsuzzaman
Dudu today said that such efforts will ultimately be futile as the people are
waiting with great anticipation for the polls.
Speaking as the chief guest at a discussion marking the 49th death
anniversary of Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani at Santosh here, the BNP
leader said the next government to be formed through the election will be a
BNP-led government.
"Following the ideals of Maulana Bhashani means walking on the path shown by
Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman," he said. "Following Zia means following
Begum Khaleda Zia, and her path ultimately leads to following Tarique Rahman,
who has already earned the trust of the nation."
Tangail district BNP president Hasanuzzamil Shahin presided over the
discussion meeting, while BNP Vice Chairman Advocate Ahmed Azam Khan,
publicity secretary Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, and child affairs secretary Abul
Kalam Azad also spoke among others.
