LAKSHMIPUR, Nov 8, 2025 (BSS) – Joint Secretary General of Bangladesh Nationalist Party Shahiduddin Chowdhury Anee today stressed the need for an unwavering unity for realizing the forthcoming general election for the welfare of the country and its people. 

“We have to be united to realize the next parliamentary polls. This election is meant not for an individual or for a party rather for the wellbeing of the people who have undergone through agony for the last 16 years,” he said.

He made the remarks as the chief guest at an Uthan Baithak (courtyard meeting) of ward number 3, 4 and 5, organized by Chandraganj union BNP and Mohila Dal under Lakshmipur Sadar Upazila. 
 
The BNP leader reminded the party leaders and activists against the conspiracy of the deposed Sheikh Hasina.

“Yet, the conspiracy of Sheikh Hasina is not stopped,” he said. 

Mentioning that a conducive environment for election is created, Anne has called upon all to remain alert until the power is handed over to the government of the people after holding the 13th parliamentary election.
    
The BNP leader stated that his party is not harmful for the country, saying that those who are unsafe for the nation fled the country. 

Anne, who got BNP nomination for taking part in the forthcoming election, he said that who will commit crimes in the name of BNP, will not get any place in the party. 
         
 Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Vice-President Wahid Uddin Chowdhury Happy, BNP leader Nizam Uddin Bhuiyan and Lakshmipur district Sramik Dal President Abul Hashem and district Mohila Dal President Sabera Anwara and General Secretary Sumi Begum, among others, were present.
