DHAKA, Nov 06, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) is going to organize 6th Graduation Ceremony for certified expert bankers who had successfully completed all the requirements of the respective certification course.
 
 Dr. Ahsan H. Mansur, Chairman of the BIBM Governing Board and Governor, Bangladesh Bank will present at the event as chief guest, said a press release issued today.
 
 Professor Dr.  M. A. Baqui Khalily, Dean, School of Business, University of Asia Pacific of Dhaka will deliver the ceremonial lecture. The programmme will be chaired by S. M. Abdul Hakim, Director General of BIBM. Dr. Mohammad Tazul Islam, Director (Certification) of BIBM will deliver welcome address of the programme. 

This is the 6th Graduation Ceremony of BIBM for the certified expert bankers of nine programs. A total number of one thousands thirteen graduates will be awarded certificates in the programmme. 

These certification courses conducted by BIBM are playing a unique role in building a skilled workforce to provide specialized services in the banking sector of Bangladesh.
 
Dr. Mohammad Tazul Islam, Director (Certification) of BIBM said, the main objective of launching the certification courses at BIBM is to enhance the professional expertise of bankers working in the banking sector in Bangladesh as well as acquaint them with contemporary banking system and global thinking.
 
In 2015, BIBM jointly launched the Certified Expert in Risk Management (CERM) course with the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management in Germany. 

Later, the BIBM launched 8 more certification courses. These are ‘Certified Expert in Credit Management (CECM)’; ‘Certified Expert in Trade Services (CETS)’; ‘Certified Expert in Anti Money Laundering and Financial Crime (CEAF)  and ‘Certified Expert in E-Banking (CEEB)’; Certified Islamic Banking and Finance Professionals (CIBFP); Certificate in Commercial Credit (CICC); Certificate in SME Credit (CiSMEC) ; Certified Professionals in SME Financing (CPSMEF); Certified Professional in Internal Audit and Bank Inspection (CPAI) & Certified Expert in NPL Management & Investment (CENPL).
