NDC & AFWC delegation pays courtesy call on President

DHAKA, Oct 27, 2025 (BSS)- A delegation of the National Defense Course (NDC)-2025 and the Armed Forces War Course (AFWC)-2025 paid a courtesy call on President Mohammed Shahabuddin at Bangabhaban here today.

Addressing the occasion, President Shahabuddin paid deep respect to the brave martyrs of the great liberation war of 1971.

Recalling the students and people who made supreme sacrifices during July-August 2024, President Shahabuddin said their sacrifices would further pave the way for our unity, justice and nation-building efforts.

The President paid tribute to the members of the x armed forces who made supreme sacrifice in the Great Liberation War, UN peacekeeping missions, and establishing peace in the hilly areas as well.

President Shahabuddin highlighted the important contribution of the armed forces in protecting the independence and sovereignty of Bangladesh, dealing with any crisis and disaster, and establishing world peace.

The President urged the participating members in the NDC and AFWC courses to work with professionalism.   

President's Military Secretary Major General Mohammad Adil Chowdhury and senior officials of the armed forces division and the President's Office were present.
