BRAHMANBARIA, Sept 4, 2025 (BSS)– Senior Joint Secretary General of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi today said the cohorts of the fascist Sheikh Hasina are active in the administration and are now working to foil the upcoming national election with a far-sighted plan. 
 
“Sheikh Hasina has fled. But her cronies still remain. They are now staying at different levels of administration and working to make the Interim government fail and foil the upcoming national election,” he said.
 
He made the remarks after handing over grants to school student Nabil and his group to conduct scientific research at College Para in Bharmanbaria town. 
 
But, the Interim Government under the leadership of Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus is ready to hold the election in a free, fair and neutral manner. 
 
The senior BNP leader said, “I believe there is no power stronger than the people. Sheikh Hasina was defeated to this power. The allies of Sheikh Hasina will definitely embrace the same fate whatever conspiracy or master plan is hatched.” 
 
He has reminded all the BNP leaders and activists to remain cautious as the associates of Sheikh Hasina cannot create any subversive situation to thwart the upcoming national election slated for February next.
 
Brahmanbaria district BNP President and central economic affairs secretary Engineer Khalid Hossain Mahbub Shyamol and district Secretary General Sirajul Islam, among others, were present.
