DHAKA, August 23, 2025 (BSS) - The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) will hold its 181st public hearing at Sirajganj Zila Shilpakola Academy tomorrow aiming to create social awareness and resisting corruption.

ACC Commissioner (Investigation) Miah Muhammad Ali Akbar Azizi will be present at the public hearing as the chief guest while its Director General (DG- Investigation-1) Md Rezaul Kabir and DG (Prevention) Md Akhter Hossain will join as special guests.

People who are deprived of getting services from government offices or victims of harassment can lodge their complaints at the public hearing. The ACC bosses will deliver their instant decisions on the basis of the allegations in presence of the chiefs of all district level government offices. The public hearing has been arranged for ensuring government services as well as honesty, sincerity and accountability of the government officers.

Massive publicity programmes -- including announcement, posturing, distribution of leaflets, setting up complaint booths and boxes -- have been taken at Sirajganj Sadar during last one week to make the public hearing a success. 

As such, huge enthusiasm has been created among common people of the district in this regard.

The ACC also urged the members of the civil society, general people and the journalists from print and electronic media to be present at the public hearing.
