CHAPAINAWABGANJ, July 24, 2025 (BSS) - BNP Chairperson's Adviser Professor Md Shahjahan Miah, a valiant freedom fighter, today said the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) always believes in the politics of coexistence, not revenge.
"BNP believes in politics of coexistence, not revenge... It is a party of the mass people," he said while addressing a street rally in Binodpur Union here.
Shahjahan also called upon the people to support BNP in building a prosperous and inclusive Bangladesh in the coming days.
The former lawmaker held several roadside rallies highlighting BNP's 31-point charter and exchanged views with general public, including women and senior citizens.
Referring to BNP's political ideology, he said the party, founded by late President Shaheed Ziaur Rahman, is committed to the welfare of the country and its people.
Addressing the younger generation, he said, "You must understand BNP's 31-point charter to help build a prosperous and employment-based Bangladesh."
Professor Shahjahan urged all to strengthen the hands of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman to ensure proper implementation of the charter.
Following the roadshow, a special prayer was offered for the victims of the tragic jet crash at Milestone School and College in the capital, as well as for the martyrs of the July-August movement in 2024.
Local BNP leaders and activists accompanied him during the rallies.
