DHAKA, March 18, 2025 (BSS) – The Dhaka University administration has formed another new probe body for investigating violent attacks on students during the July Uprising on the Dhaka University campus.

Formed yesterday in the syndicate meeting, the probe will be headed by syndicate member Dr. Tajmeri S A Islam.

“The probe has been asked to look over the findings of previously formed Fact-findings committee to make final decision over the found alleged attackers,” a press release signed by deputy director of DU public relations officer Farrukh Mahmud said.

The report, comprising of 128 students as violent attackers, submitted by fact finding committee yesterday is incomplete. The newly formed probe body will make a final report in this regard, the release reads.
