NARAYANGANJ, Aug 18, 2026 (BSS) - Disaster Management and Relief Minister Asadul Habib Dulu has said the government is committed to protecting people's lives and livelihoods, reducing disaster risks and building a safe, prosperous and green Bangladesh.
"Our journey will move forward more firmly in the coming days with the people," he said.

The Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief stands beside the coastal people to keep them in safe shelters during such crises, he added.

Iqbal Hossain, MP Abul Kalam, Secretary of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Mohammad Saiful Islam and JICA Bangladesh Office Chief Representative TAKAHASHI Junko addressed the programme as special guests.
