DHAKA, Aug 14, 2026 (BSS) - Four more people have died from suspected measles across the country in the last 24 hours, according to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

A total of 972 suspected measles cases were reported in the past 24 hours while the total number of suspected measles cases reached 122,794 since March 15.

During the last 24 hours, 187 measles cases were laboratory-confirmed.

Since March 15, a total of 122,794 suspected measles patients were hospitalized and 118,540 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals.

In the past 24 hours, four deaths from suspected measles were reported. Since March 15, a total of 795 children have died from suspected measles.

No deaths from confirmed measles were reported in the last 24 hours. From March 15, 99 deaths from confirmed measles were recorded.
