RAJSHAHI, Aug 8, 2026 (BSS)- Machine Readable Library Cards have been distributed among the new students of the 2025 session of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET). 

Today, in a festive atmosphere at the RUET Central Library building, the Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Professor Nurul Islam, handed over these cards to the students.

At that time, RUET's Acting Librarian Mahbubul Alam was present. 
In this context, this card is being provided to 1,235 new students of the 2025 Series across 14 departments of RUET. 

Using the library card, students will be able to use about 40,000 printed books available in the RUET Central Library. 

In addition, there are numerous issues of IEEE journals on 7,367,774 search items including e-books, conference journals and magazines, courses, standards, authors, citations on 197 titles.
