DHAKA, July 7, 2026 (BSS) - The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations
scheduled for tomorrow, July 8, in Chattogram, Cox's Bazar and Rangamati districts under the
Chattogram Education Board have been postponed due to adverse weather and flood conditions.
The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Dhaka Education Board announced the decision in a
notification issued today.
According to the notice, only the examinations in these three districts under the Chattogram Board
have been postponed.
However, exams in other districts under the board, including Bandarban and Khagrachhari, will be held
as per the previously announced schedule.
The postponed exams include HSC under the General Education Board, Alim under the Madrasa Education
Board, HSC (BM), HSC (Vocational) and Diploma in Commerce under the Technical Education Board.
The Coordination Committee further clarified that examinations under the country's other nine general
education boards, as well as the madrasa and technical boards (except for the three affected
districts) will be held tomorrow as scheduled.
A new schedule for the postponed exams for the three districts will be announced later through an
official notification.
