DHAKA, Aug 23, 2026 (BSS) - Chief of Naval Staff Vice Admiral Khondkar Misbah ul Azim has been promoted to the rank of Admiral, according to an ISPR press release today.

Earlier, Azim was appointed Chief of Bangladesh Navy for a three-year term with effect from July 23, 2026.
