RUET concludes research projects of 71 researchers, highlighting innovation, engineering excellence, and academic collaboration through presentation ceremony.

RAJSHAHI, June 28, 2026 (BSS)- The research work of 71 researchers under Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) has been completed.

To mark the occasion, a concluding ceremony was organised by the Research and Extension Department. 

The event was held today in the seminar room of the Computer Science and Engineering Building at RUET while its Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. S M Abdur Razzak was present as the chief guest.
 
In his speech, the VC highlighted the importance of research in the engineering education system.
 
The ceremony was chaired by Prof Dr. Md. Abdul Khaleque, director of the Research and Extension Department.
 
Special guests who delivered speeches included Prof Dr. Mosharraf Hossain from the Department of Industrial and Production Engineering, Prof Dr Abdul 
Kader Jilani, Dean of the Faculty of Applied Science and Humanities, Prof Dr Kamruzzaman, Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, and Prof Dr. Nurul Islam, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
 
The heads of various RUET departments along with the researchers were also present. Later, the researchers presented their respective research work.
