MYMENSINGH, June 19, 2026 (BSS) - State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yasser Khan Choudhury today said the government has declared zero tolerance policy against corruption to establish a transparent and accountable administration.

"No form of irregularity or corruption would be tolerated in Nandail and those who deprive ordinary people of their rightful benefits would not be spared," he said.

Yasser issued the warnings while distributing rice, corrugated tin sheets for the underprivileged, and wheelchairs for persons with disabilities at Nandail Upazila Parishad in the district.

Highlighting the government's development programmes, the state minister said the government has already introduced Family Card to promote women's empowerment, Farmer Card, and honorarium allowances for imams, muezzins, khatibs, and various other religious clerics.

Nandail Upazila Nirbahi Officer Fatema Jannat chaired the event.

Corrugated tin sheets were distributed to 30 impoverished individuals, wheelchairs to 10 persons with disabilities, and rice to 15 institutions.
