DHAKA, June 1, 2026 (BSS) - Kamrul Islam has been appointed to the position of Protocol Officer-2 to the Prime Minister.

A notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration came up the appointment.

"Kamrul Islam has been appointed to the post of Protocol Officer-2 (Grade-6) under the Prime Minister's Office from the date of joining. The appointment will be made on contractual terms, replacing any previous employment arrangements in any profession, business, or government, semi-government, autonomous or private organization," the notification reads.

It further said that other terms and conditions of the appointment will be determined by the contract.
