DHAKA, May 28, 2026 (BSS) - Social Welfare and Women and Children Affairs Minister Prof Dr AZM Zahid Hossain visited the Tejgaon Government Children’s Home (Girls) in the capital today on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Azha.

He inquired about the children’s well-being and instructed the authorities to ensure proper food, medical care, overall living conditions, cleanliness, and food quality.

The minister inspected whether quality meals were being prepared and served on the occasion of Eid. Zahid also spent some time with the children and shared the joy of Eid with them.

He said Prime Minister Tarique Rahman’s government is very sincere in its efforts for underprivileged children.

Zahid said significant positive changes for underprivileged children can be achieved if both government and private initiatives work together.
