DHAKA, May 28, 2026 (BSS) - State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yasser Khan Choudhury today offered Eid-ul-Azha prayers in Nandail upazila of Mymensingh district and visited the graves of his late parents.
The state minister joined the main Eid congregation at the historic Moazzempur Saheb Bari Jame Mosque Eidgah in Nandail at 7:30 am.
Local dignitaries and a large number of devotees attended the prayers. Special prayers were offered seeking peace and prosperity of the country and the Muslim Ummah.

After the prayers, the state minister visited the family graveyard adjacent to the Saheb Bari premises where he offered Fateha and special prayers seeking eternal peace for the departed souls of his late parents and ancestors.
Later, he exchanged Eid greetings with local residents of his village.
Over the past two days, the state minister toured different areas of his constituency and inquired about the well-being of local people. During the visit, he distributed cash assistance, corrugated iron sheets and dry food among families affected by a recent cyclone.
He also visited cattle markets and spoke with buyers and sellers about their problems and facilities.
In addition, he sat at tea stalls in village markets and listened to the concerns and complaints of local people.
