Info State Minister to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha in native village

DHAKA, May 27, 2026 (BSS) – State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yasser Khan Choudhury will celebrate the holy Eid-ul-Azha at his ancestral home in Nandail of Mymensingh.
 
According to an official tour schedule, the state minister will offer Eid prayers there and take part in various social and political programmes during his visit.
 
As per the schedule, he will offer the Eid-ul-Azha prayers at 7:30 am on Thursday at the historic Moazzempur Saheb Bari Jame Mosque Eidgah in Nandail.
 
After the prayers, Yasser will exchange Eid greetings with local residents and well-wishers in his village.
 
He is also scheduled to attend several social programmes in different areas of Nandail upazila from 11 am on the same day.
 
Earlier, on May 26, the state minister attended an Eid gift distribution programme organised by the Mymensingh City Corporation as the chief guest.

Addressing the function, he highlighted various public welfare initiatives undertaken by the government and called upon people to extend cooperation in implementing the programmes successfully.
 
During the visit, he will exchange views with local dignitaries, political leaders and common people.
 
He is also expected to inspect ongoing development activities in Nandail and participate in local social and political events.
 
On May 30, the state minister will join a doa and munajat programme marking the death anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman.
 
He is scheduled to return to Dhaka on May 31 afternoon via Mymensingh and head to his residence in Gulshan.
